In the 1A, Greenfield School is riding a five-game winning streak sandwiched around a 1-1 tie with Ridgecroft School. The Knights have defeated Faith Christian and Wayne Country Day to sit atop the ultra-competitive CPIC conference. In the 2A, Fayetteville Academy defeated Cape fear Academy twice and Fayetteville Christian to improve to 11-2-2. The Eagles are the top team in the 2A but Asheville Christian and St. David's School keep pace.
